Mystic Blue Quartzite Shower and Vanities in Fair Oaks, California

For this Fair Oaks, California master bath, our client wanted natural stone to carry the whole space rather than tile. We used Mystic Blue quartzite throughout, wrapping a large six-foot by six-foot shower room and the master vanities in the same stone for a consistent, high-end look.

The shower was the heart of the project. We ran the quartzite floor to ceiling on the walls and built in the details that make a shower work day to day: two recessed niches for bottles, a built-in bench, and a dam curb to contain the water. Fabricating these elements in slab keeps the veining flowing across the room and cuts down on the grout lines you get with tile.

We completed the installation in two days. Pairing the shower with matching Mystic Blue vanities ties the room together and gives the homeowners a durable, cohesive master bath built around one striking natural stone.
