Our Process

Our process consists of just 7 simple steps.

Step 1: The Quote

For your convenience, we offer 3 ways to receive your FREE estimate. Once we have your measurements, your estimate, including estimated slab count, will be ready within 24-48 hours.

Step 2: Contract & Scheduling

We will send you a contract for your review and signature and schedule the dates for your tear-out (if applicable), template, and install.

Step 3: Selecting Materials

Prior to your template, you will need to select and purchase your slabs and have them delivered to our shop. We gladly pass on our fabricators discount to you as a token of our appreciation.

Step 4: Tear-Out

If we are doing a tear-out, a typical kitchen with tile countertops and backsplash will take about 4 hours. Our helpful tear out guide will advise you on how to prepare.

Step 5: Template

One of our templators will measure your surfaces and take note of any intricate details of your project. This process typically takes 1.5-3 hours, depending on the size of your project.

Step 6: Fabrication

Once your template is complete, it is then laid out on your slabs to best showcase the stone. When the layout is confirmed, our fabrication team then cuts, routers, grinds, and polishes.

Step 7: Installation

A typical kitchen installation takes approximately 4-6 hours and is completed in one day. Large projects or projects including more than one area may take longer.

Quick turn-around time

Approximately a week to a week and a half after your template, your project will be ready for installation!

Our Company

Stokes Granite & Stone is a family owned and operated granite and stone fabrication and installation company.

Stokes Granite & Stone was established in 1982 by Mike & Karen Stokes as a small tile business. In 1996, we added granite slab fabrication and installation to our services, and by 2000, in order to better serve our customers, transitioned solely to slab fabrication and installation. After 32 years, in 2014, Mike & Karen Stokes decided it was time to enjoy their hard-earned retirement and sold their business to Michael & Mark Manalo, brothers and loyal employees for over 25 combined years.
