Cambria Quartz Kitchen Countertops in Loomis, California

Project Backstory

For this kitchen in Loomis, our client wanted a surface with warmth and character to anchor the room. We worked with them to find a quartz that would deliver both a rich look and the everyday durability a working kitchen needs.

Location: Loomis, CA

Project Materials

They chose Cambria quartz in the Berkshire Brass Satin Ridge design. Its warm tones and satin finish gave the space a softer, lower-sheen look, while the engineered quartz kept things low-maintenance for daily use. We carried the quartz up the wall as a full backsplash, which turns the stone into a continuous feature behind the counters. The countertops were finished with an ogee eased edge for a bit of traditional shaping along the profile. The result is a kitchen that feels put-together and built to hold up over the long run.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about our quartz countertops here.

1. Is Cambria quartz durable enough for a busy kitchen?

Yes. Cambria is an engineered quartz that is hard, non-porous, and resistant to scratches and stains, which makes it well suited to daily cooking and cleaning. Its non-porous surface also means it does not absorb spills the way some natural stone can.

2. Does quartz need to be sealed?

No. Because quartz is non-porous, it does not require the periodic sealing that natural stone does. Routine cleaning with mild soap and water is enough to keep it looking its best, which is a big part of the appeal for homeowners who want low upkeep.

3. How does a satin finish differ from a polished one on quartz?

A satin finish has a softer, lower sheen than a high-gloss polish, giving the surface a more muted, matte look. It tends to show fewer fingerprints and smudges, while still wiping clean as easily as a polished surface.

What our Customers are Saying

“We had our second project done with Stokes. Everything went smooth and installers did whole kitchen countertop and back splash done in a day and cleaned the space before leaving. The fabricator discount that Stokes gave us while buying the slabs helped us a lot to save money and to buy the slabs that we liked. Overall; I am happy working with them and I will reach out to them for any future project we may have.“

Past Customer

“Stokes just installed new quartz countertops in my kitchen, laundry room and half bathroom. What a transformation to my house! The installation crew did an outstanding job. They were careful, courteous, friendly, and it was fun to watch the pros at work. Mike did a perfect job making the templates. Ashley was delightful to work with on all the paperwork and scheduling. I couldn’t be happier with everyone at Stokes. I happily give the my highest recommendation and would call them first in the future!“
