In 1982, Mike Stokes established his tile company in Sacramento, California. Starting off with only a few employees, Mike Stokes Tile & Marble quickly became known for its quality work, reliability, excellent customer service, and timely completion.
In 1996, Mike Stokes Tile & Marble added to its repertoire granite and stone fabrication and installation. For four years the company worked in both tile and granite fabrication.
In 2000, in order to better serve his customers, Mike Stokes transferred completely from the tile business into the granite business. Now, almost 25 years later, Stokes Granite & Stone, Inc., is very successful in granite and stone fabrication and installation.
At Stokes Granite & Stone, Inc., we work with a variety of different slab materials: Granite, Marble, Caesarstone, Travertine, Limestone, Onyx, Soapstone, & Slate.
Our 5,000 square foot shop is conveniently located in Orangevale, California. We typically service the greater Sacramento Area including: Sacramento, Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Granite Bay, Folsom, Placerville, Shingle Springs, El Dorado Hills, Orangevale, Fair Oaks, Carmichael, Rancho Cordova, Citrus Heights, Natomas, Jackson, & Elk Grove; however, we also have serviced the outlying areas between Truckee and San Francisco.
Our shop equipment includes two bridge saws and one straight edge machine. These machines assist us in guaranteeing precision and the timeliness of completion of your project. In addition, we also create much of our high quality work with hand held machines.
Our shop hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We currently staff over 15 employees, including a highly trained office staff, shop fabricators, and installation crews. Stokes Granite & Stone, Inc. is fully covered by Workers Compensation and Automobile and Commercial Liability. Insurance certificates are always available upon request.
